When trying to broaden my understanding and interest in typography the dissection and exploration of the anatomy is a great starting point. By doing this there's the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of typography. This is helpful for future reference as knowing the full anatomy and makeup of type it can provide a better understanding of how to adapt type and manipulate it into my own work.
